Q: Does your software handle "test suites", different lists of test cases?
A: Not exactly. We provide for the organization of test cases by project, component, priority, type of case (e.g. boundary, functional, error, etc.) as well as provide space for a descriptive title. You could use any one or combination of these to facilitate the sequencing of test cases. Furthermore, we allow you to filter out test cases that have been regressed in recent builds. This allows you to focus on the test cases that need regressing the most rather than the same old common ones you always hit.
Q: Does Icy support importing our existing test data?
A: No. This would require custom mapping from your schema to Icy's. There are several approaches available, contact us for details.
Q: If I want to change the new testcase entry template, is it possible ?
A: No. While the Test Case entry page is newer than the Bug entry form, we've gone to great lengths to refine our design into something that is fast to operate, requires minimum mental parsing, and gets the job done. If you have suggestions for improvements to any of our forms, please send them our way. We'll incorporate those that we believe will work for everyone and improve ease of use and speed.
